At DynaGroup, the majority of the pine we grow and process is a carefully developed hybrid of Pinus elliottii (Slash Pine) and Pinus caribaea (Caribbean Pine). This combination brings together the strengths of two proven species to create a timber that performs exceptionally well in Queensland conditions.

From its Slash Pine heritage, the hybrid gains excellent wood density and strong frost resistance. These traits help produce a durable, stable timber that performs well in a wide range of environments.
